NE: Nebraska lawmakers pass ‘Party Bus Bill’

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) – A measure known as the “Party Bus Bill” was passed by state lawmakers on Thursday.
It would require companies that operate special party buses to obtain an annual license from the state Liquor Control Commission.
The commission would be able to suspend, revoke or cancel the license. A one-year license would cost $75.
Enforcement inspections of special party buses would be limited to times when patrons are entering or exiting the stopped vehicle.
The measure, which was introduced by Sen. Megan Hunt, passed by a 42-0 vote. It now heads to the governor’s office.
