Stumbling out of nightclubs and being propped up by friends as they attempt to make their way home, these are some of the thousands of revellers who descended on Newcastle for a boozy Bank Holiday weekend.
Party-goers made the most of the three-day May Day Bank Holiday by dressing up to the nines and hitting the northern city’s pubs and clubs, as the country enjoyed one of the warmest weekends of the year so far.
However, while many enjoyed their booze-fuelled antics, it all became a bit too much for some – with several party animals seen slumped on the streets, throwing up in bins or being consoled by friends.
Others were pictured putting on an amorous public display of affection without a care in the world as revellers enjoyed their kebabs and takeaways around them following a boozy night.
Clubbers were out in the notorious party hotspot until the early hours of yesterday as they made the most of one of the busiest nights of the year.
