While America’s first-graders are learning how to read and perform basic math, 6-year-olds in Italy will be schooled in the history of wine and how to drink it responsibly.
A new bill that has been introduced in Italy aims to teach children between 6 and 13 not to abuse alcohol, as well as how wine ties in to the history of the country. Wine tasting will not be a part of the program.
