London’s ‘first’ naked rooftop bar, a venue overlooking Parliament Square, has opened to coincide with the forecast of a mid-August heatwave.

Media provider Now TV is behind the nudist outdoor pop-up in Westminster, which encourages Brits to go ‘clothes-free’ 60ft up from the ground.

The naked haunt offers an open-air bar, relaxing sunbathing areas and even the chance for a quick work-out with a bounce on a trampoline or a round of swing-ball.

Now TV unveiled the bar, aimed at the ‘no strings’ generation, to mark the launch of its contract-free deals.

Gidon Katz, managing director of Now TV, said: “We’re going to keep breaking away from traditional conventions; firstly contracts, and now clothes, with the Now TV nudist terrace. We think the naked sun deck is a great way to promote our new ‘package’.”

The naked roof terrace first went live earlier in August and is set to open again on further dates this summer.

It’s not the first time nudity has hit the London hospitality scene, as Lollipop launched a naked restaurant, The Bunyadi, in June.
