VIRGINIA- At three different Albemarle County High Schools, school officials say some fans crossed the line by bringing booze to high school football games.
“Our number one priority at all of our events is to provide a safe and fun environment for spectators, the bands, the parents, and the families,” said Matt Blundin, who works for the Albemarle County School System, “so we decided that a good proactive approach would be to have folks not bring in containers with drinks.”
School officials said if someone is caught with alcohol they could be arrested. This stems from several reports across the county of fans reportedly being drunk at football games.
